Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Crawl-Space Connect (“CONNECT,” “we,” “us”), operated by Crawl-Space Correct. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

1. What CONNECT is

CONNECT is a marketplace and directory. We produce an annual visual record of your crawlspace (the “Blueprint”) and connect homeowners to independent trade businesses. We are not a contractor. We do not perform, supervise, warrant, or guarantee any repair or remediation work. Service is currently limited to South Carolina.

2. Trades are independent

Trade businesses listed on CONNECT are independent contractors, not our employees or agents. Each trade is solely responsible for carrying and maintaining its own license and insurance. We perform a credential review before a listing goes live, but that review is not a warranty of a trade’s work, qualifications, or conduct. Verify licensing and insurance directly before hiring.

3. No warranty on work; disputes

Any agreement for work is solely between you and the trade. Payment for work happens off-platform, directly between you and the trade. CONNECT is not a party to that agreement and does not handle those funds. Disputes about work quality, price, or completion are between you and the trade.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Homeowner access is $175/year, paid up front, and includes the initial Blueprint and twelve months of access. Trade listings are $175/month per trade category. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. A lapsed homeowner subscription enters a 14-day grace period, after which Blueprint access becomes read-only until renewed. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Billing is processed by Stripe.

5. Acceptable use

One account, one role. Don’t misrepresent your identity, credentials, or licensing; don’t use CONNECT to harass; don’t attempt to access data that isn’t yours. We may suspend listings or accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CONNECT’s aggregate liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or work of any trade.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
